We arrived at that amount using the funding formula in the Inter-local Agreement and we have attached the spreadsheet showing the calculation of the formula. This funding request is $21,158 more than the allocation for 2022-2023, a 9.6% increase. The majority of this increase is due to the addition of a staff member specifically dedicated to Education and Outreach activities at CHT and rises in costs of operations due to inflation. In FY 2021-2022 we reduced funding by 2% and FY 22-23 we requested a 4% increase based on the challenges posed by the pandemic. Please note that our funding request does not include any funding for the rental housing work we do at Glen Lennox or at the Landings at Winmore. Included with this request for your review are: • Community Home Trust’s 2023-2024 Annual Work Plan • Community Home Trust’s 2023-2024 operating budget and program budget • 2023-2024 Local Government Support Calculations We are very grateful for the support of Orange County as we work to increase and preserve the stock of affordable housing in Orange County. If you need additional information from us, we are happy to discuss. Investigate at least 2 properties for feasibility of purchase and rehab. This includes evaluating repairs needed, acquisition costs, affordability, and available subsidy. Work on a transfer of administration of the master leasing program so that it is seamless for the administrator and tenants. Funding to extend the program has been approved through 2026.
