PURPOSE: To provide Dan Sykes,the new Executive Director of the Orange County ABC
Board, an opportunity to introduce himself to the BOCC and to allow Mr. Sykes to give a short
update on alcohol sales activities in Orange County.
BACKGROUND: Dan Sykes was recently named the new Executive Director of the Orange
County ABC Board and will be present at the meeting to Introduce himself as well as give a
short update on alcohol sales activities In Orange County.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: Them is no Lnenclal impact associated with this item.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board meet the new Executive
Director of the Orange County ABC Board and hear a short update on alcohol sales activities in
Orange County.
