schedule for the recording of federal liens from the present fee of seventy five
cents (75V)'to that authorized by G.S. 161-11.00, this would mean that the fee
for recording a federal tax lien would be two dollars ($2.00) and the fee for
releasing a federal lien would be two dollars ($2.00).
There being no further business to come before this Board the meeting was
adjourned to meet again on Thursday, June 20th, at 8 o'clock p.m.

Minutes of the Board of County Commissioners
June 20, 1963
The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday,
June 20, 1963, at 8 o'clock p.m. in the commissioners room at the courthouse in
Hillsboro, N. C.
Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey D. Bennett,
Gordon Cleveland,-Carl M, 'Smith-and Henry S. Walker.
Members absent: None
The purpose of this meeting was to continue discussion of the proposed
1963-1964 budget.
The following representatives of agencies appeared before the Board and
presented their budgets:
Mrs. Richmond Bond & Mrs. William Geer
Chapel Hill Library
Mrs. Clarence Jones - County Museum
David Flick - Hyconeechee Regional Library
Don S. Matheson & Ed Barnes
Farm Extension Service
At the conclusion of these presentations, the Board adjourned to meet again
on Thursday, Tune 27th, st.1:30 o'clock p.m.

June 27, 1963
The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in special session on Thursday,
June 27, 1963, at 1:30 o'clock p.m. in the commissioners room at the courthouse in
Hillsboro, N. C.
Members Present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey D. Bennett,
Gordon Cleveland, Carl M. Smith and Henry S. Walker.
Members absent: None
The purpose of this meeting was to continue discussion of the proposed
1963-1964 budget.
Cashe Boggs, County Dog Warden was present and a discussion ensued concerning
the dog program.
The following road petitions were submitted and'the Clerk was requested to
mail same to the State Highway Commission:
1. Ward, Severin & Weiner Sts.
2. Severin St.
The Board than reviewed the following budgets:
County Schools
Chapel Hill Schools
Bond Fund
School Debt Service Fund
Health Fund
Welfare Fund
Property Revaluation Funds
Some General Fund items
