PURPOSE: To appoint a Liaison to the lCLEL
BACKGROUND: At its November 19, 2001 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners
agreed to join International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives. The ICLEI has requested
that the Board of County Commissioners appoint a Liaison.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint one County Commissioner to serve as Liaison on the
International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.
