Tom Maynard, Area Director of OPC Mental Health Authority, will present a summary of the requirements of the new state plan and the tasks before this committee. WHO SHOULD BE ON THE COMMMCE? To be on the committee you must be a consumer or a family member of a consumer in Orange, Person, or Chatham counties in one or more of the areas of adult mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities, or child and family services. WHYTHE COMMITTEE IS IMPORTANT This is your chance to influence the way services will be provided in the future. This committee is not solely advisory, but will be submitting a written report on the plan to be proposed by Orange, Person, and Chatham counties to the State.
