PURPOSE: To fill three positions on the Commission for the Environment (CFE). This item
was previously included on the County Commissioners' 3/19/02 Agenda.
BACKGROUND: There are currently three At-Large vacancies on the CFE.
The Clerk's office has received 28 applications from citizens who have expressed an interest to
serve on the CFE.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint three people to fill these positions with terms as follows:
Position 11, first term, ending 12/31/2005; Positions 13 and 15, each partial terms, both ending
12/31/2003.
