PURPOSE: To consider approval of the meeting schedule for the Board of Commissioners for
calendar year 2023.
BACKGROUND: In accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143-318.12, a schedule
of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. The
schedule must show the date, time, and place of each meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item.
SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There is no Orange County Social Justice Goal impact associated
with this item.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal
impact associated with this item.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the proposed meeting
schedule for calendar year 2023.
