No quorum, approval pushed to next meeting

Sauer: Nearing end of 1st year at UNC SOG, interning at Guilford Co. Manager's
office during the summer
Webb: Urban Affairs conference, in person for a change... lot of presentations
on landlord/tenant relations with voucher holders, ways they get around having to rent to
HCV... found out HUD will have new MTW cohort coming out soon, focused on asset-building
Mahood: Amy Fowler expressed her pleasure at this board

• Programmatic Reports— Utilization, Voucher Issuance, Two Year Tool, VMS
• Informal Hearings— N/A
• HCV Program Update
• HOV Update: Materials Created, to be edited.
• Income requirement: $14,500
• Employment requirement: 1 adult working FT for 12 consecutive
months
• No outstanding debts to any PHAs
• Some programs include requirement for 1 year under lease as HCV,
does not appear to be federally mandated

• Current apartment complex recently approached OCHA with desire to
dedicate units to HCV specifically.
6:25 PM Boardmember Evelyn Johann resigned
-Action not needed until August, so we will discuss recruitment strategies for
program participants at our June Meeting
6:30 PM Discussing need for May meeting, determined that we will keep it on the
calendar for now in case there is movement on PBV (either Jay St. or Bentley
Woods), but with ability to cancel if no urgent needs arise.
