PURPOSE: To appoint two Orange County Commissioners to the Horace Williams Tract
Planning Committee.
BACKGROUND: Mr. Jonathan B. Hawes, of the UNC-CH Community Relations Department,
has requested that two Orange County Commissioners be appointed to the newly-farmed
Horace Williams Tract Planning Committee, to be headed by Tony Waldrop, Vice-Chairfor
Research and Graduate Studies, UNC-CH. The date, time and location of the organizational
meeting are to be announced

RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint two Orange County Commissioners to the Horace Williams
Tract Planning Committee.
