PURPOSE: To consider appointments to the Recreation and Parks Advisory Council (RPAC).
BACKGROUND: "T"here are two vacancies on RPAC, one for Bingham Township and one for
Eno Township. The Membership Committee has made the following recommendations for
appointments:
Ms. Lindsay B. Withers, 2409 Sunnyfield Ct., Hillsborough, N.C, 27278, who resides in
Bingham Township, is recommended to be appointed to the Bingham Township position for a
partial term to expire March 31, 2004.
Mr. Geoffrey Hathaway, 5016 Pleasant Green Road, Durham, N.C. 27705, who resides in Eno
Township, is recommended to be appointed to the Eno Township position for a term to expire
March 31, 2006, His term would be considered a full term since it will be for a duration of longer
than two years.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None,
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making appointments to the Recreation and Parks
Advisory Council as the Board may decide.
