PURPOSE: To consider an appointment to the Orange County Board of Adjustment.
BACKGROUND: This seven-member board has two vacancies:
Position No, 4 At-Large-Alternate Term Expiration 06/30/2006
Position No. 7 Planning Board Liaison Term Expiration 06/30/2004
Mr. Howard McAdams, Jr., who was the Planning Board Liaison, has exressed interest in being
moved to the Alternate position. There is also one application from Mr. Thomas Brown of 4409
Bradford Ridge Road, Efland, N,C. who is very interested in serving,
Mr,Ted Treibel, Orange County Planning Board member, has expressed interest in serving as
the Planning Board Liaison to the Board of Adjustment,
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None,
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making appointments to the Orange County Board of
Adjustment as the Board may decide.
