Sec . 14 - 1 . - Fire prevention .
( a ) The Board of County Commissioners hereby adopts and incorporates appendices B , C, D , F, and
H and all optional Operational Permits in Section 105 of the North Carolina State Fire
Prevention Code into this chapter .
( b ) Amendments to appendices B , C, D , F, and H and all optional Operational Permits in Section
105 of the North Carolina State Fire Prevention Code , which are adopted and published by the
State Building Code Council, shall be effective in Orange County at the time such amendments
are made effective by the State Building Code Council . Should such appendices and permits be
repealed or deleted by the State Building Code Council or the North Carolina General Assembly
such appendices and permits shall be repealed in Orange County .
( c ) Copies of the North Carolina Administrative Code and the North Carolina State Fire Prevention
Code , their appendices and amendments , shall be maintained in the office of the Orange County
Fire Marshal .
