47 Orange County Public Transportation Director and Staff gave a PowerPoint Presentation on their updates and improvements.
48 They reviewed the safety measures used to protect staff and passengers and shared some of the obstacles faced statewide
49 regarding transit.

61 Nish Trivedi presented information on the Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO)
62 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). There will be a formal presentation at the September 15, 2021 OUTBoard meeting.

64 OUTBoard members discussed and asked clarifying questions

66 Tom Altieri shared information on the Comprehensive Transportation Plan for the RPO portion of the County that was
67 referenced and will have maps with the geographic boundaries of the 2 MPOs and the relationship to the RPO for the
68 members when it comes back in September.

70 OUTBoard members and staff discussed the Transit Plan Update and Policy Steering Committee (PSC) representation. Tom
71 Ten Eyck will be able share a timeline at the September OUTBoard meeting. OUTBoard members requested to be able to
72 have input into the plan and requested more information be shared at the next meeting.

74 Tony Blake shared that he would like to see better/more local control over the funds that are collected by Article 43 rather than
75 GoTriangle.

94 Nish Trivedi gave the OUTBoard updates and let the members know there is no more SPOT 6. The 1-40 widening has been
95 awarded the 1-85 widening will be a few years out.
