Approval of DRAFT Minutes — June 14t", 2021 The CFE will consider approval of minutes from the last meeting. Action needed (Attachment 1) 7:35 III. Community Climate Action Grant FY 2021-22 Brennan Bouma will discuss final thoughts,scores and comments on the proposed projects for the FY 2021-22 Community Climate Action Grant. 8:50 IV. Updates and Information Items Staff and/or CFE members will provide updates on the following items: Advisory board meetings to remain virtual through October 31 Any other new information from CFE members and staff 9:00 V. Call to Order Kim Piracci called the meeting to order at 7:32 pm. II. Additions or Changes to the Agenda None. III. Approval of DRAFT Minutes from April 12th, 2021 Motion by J. Eichel; seconded by V. Beattie; none opposed; motion passed. III. CFE Activities -2021 CFE discussed current activities with a brief status update for each item. IV. Climate Action Tax Fund-Round 2 B. Bouma presented and discussed expectations and the timeline for review and ranking of these FY applicants for the Climate Action Tax Fund grants. The CFE members voted (unanimously)to meet on August 9th to begin and allow for sufficient review of applications received over the summer. B. Ward mentioned that the Board of County Commissioners voted to divert 50% of the climate tax to the school districts: noting that this was a departure from the original purpose of serving the poorest in our county. B. Bouma stated schools would go through the same vetting process as every other grant applicant. It was decided that this be discussed at a later meeting V. CFE Sub-Committee Breakouts The CFE split up into breakout rooms for their respective sub-committees; Air and Energy, Water Resources, and Land Resources. VI. Updates and Information Items C. Hirni presented information and updates regarding the Buckhorn Area Study and BOCC review on June Ist VII.
