SUBJECT: Approval of Boards and Commissions Assignments

PURPOSE: To approve assignments for members of the Board of Commissioners on Boards
and Commissions with current vacancies.
BACKGROUND: BOCC members serve on various County and County-related Boards and
Commissions. As a result of Commissioner Mark Dorosin's resignation, there are seven
Commissioner vacancies on Boards and Commissions. BOCC Chair Renee Price coordinated with
Board Members whom have volunteered to serve in the vacant positions until December 2021 when
the Board will discuss its assignments for 2022. The recommended assignments for the vacancies
are as follows:

FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item.
SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Orange County Social Justice Goals associated with
this item.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There is no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal
impact associated with this item.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the Boards and
Commissions assignments for members of the Board of Commissioners as detailed above.
