Donald Stanford, Chairman June Hayes, Clerk -----------------------""-'---------_--------------- Minutes of the Board of Commissioners June 12, 1961 The Orange County Board of Commissioners met on Monday, June 12, 1961, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. in the Commissioners room at the Courthouse in Hillsboro, N. C., in special session for the purpose of beginning the 1961 - 62 budget sessions. Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey Bennett, Clarence D. Jones, Donald McDade and Henry Walker. Members absent: None Budgets of the following agencies or departments were considered: The Farm Fund The Sheriff's Office The Dog Warden The Veterans Service Office The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m. to meet again on Thursday, June 15th. Gattis, Acting Clerk ------------------------------------------------'--------_-----------_----_- Minutes of the Board of Commissioners June 15, 1961 The Orange County Board of Commissions met on Thursday, June 15, 1961, at :30 o'clock p. m. in the Commissioners room at the Courthouse in Hillsboro, N. C. he purpose of this meeting is to discuss the 1961-62 budget session. Members present: Chairman Donald Stanford, Commissioners Harvey Bennett, Larence D. Jones, Donald McDade and Henry Walker. Members absent: None The following persons or agencies were heard from: Clerk of Superior Clerk Clerk of Recorder's Court Register of Deeds County Planning Board No action was taken on any of there request, pending completion of all t hearings. Commissioner McDade moved that the application of W. E. Hayes for permission to a fireworks display at Holliday Park on July 4th, be approved. Commissioner ett gave a second to this motion and it was passed then Chairman Stanford called a vote. The meeting was then adjourned. Donald Stanford, Chairman M. Gattia, Acting Clerk
