BACKGROUND: In Mey, the County acquired 193 acre for a co-located Chapel Hill Township Park antl Etlucationel Campus. Since that time, one BOCC Work Gmup has met whh representatives fmm the Town of Carrboro to outline the process and diewee relevant issues. A sewntl BOCC work group has received information on the site atlribu[es and has begun process planning and conceptual planning wwaN a master eke design. The tlreft process for the perk is attached. As noted at the joint meeting with the school boards in Septembeq[he timetable for this process was basetl on peA planning. The Chapel Hill-Cerrboro City Schools have indicated interest in an acceleratetl timetable for elementary echaal #19. A preliminary conceptual plan for the sde will be presentetl at the meeting. FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial Impact involvetl in receiving this informational report. RECOMMENDATION(S): As the Boartl tlecitles.
