BACKGROUND: In accordance with 143.318.12 of the General Statutes, a schedule of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners. The schedule must show the date, time and place of each meeting. All meetings will begin at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. FINANCIAL IMPACT: Not applicable RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the final schedule of regular meetings for the year 2004. 2004 Calendar: There are: • 20 regularly scheduled BOCC meetings • 1 Board retreat to be for Saturday, Jan. 31St -upon approval of Board of County Commissioners • 2 closed sessions for evaluations (Manager and Clerk) • 6- Board of County Commissioners Work Sessions • 2-scheduled dinner meetings (Advisory Boards-Feb. 12th and April 1St) • 2 JPA-meetings-March 29th and October 21St • 2 Joint Assembly of Governments -Thursday.
