PURPOSE: To mnsiderawaMingabid fora Crawler OOZer for the Orenge County Regional Landfill
BACKGROUND: The Lantlfill equipment replacement schedule calls for the purchase a new Drawler
Dozer every six years. This pediculer dozer is used in the hantlling of mizetl solitl waste in [he south of
Eubanks Road tlispoeal facility. This crawler dozer is the last such machine to be pumhasetl kr use in
the mixed waste disposal facility due W its expected Gosure in eatly 20W. This machine will be remove
from the landfill equipment replacement schedule. Two other tlozere are also udlizetl et Ne lentl511, one
permanently esaigned to the C&D disposal facility antl one is usetl for excavaWg soil, pusNng

surylus Cat D-8N Crewler Dozer.
