Minutes
Members Present: Sharon Hill, Barbara Jessie-Black, John Morris, Kristen Young, Paige Zinn, John
Anderson, Tom Proctor, Jonna Hunt
Orange County Staff: Steve Brantley, Amanda Garner, Mike Ortosky, Lindsey Hirni
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Paige Zinn at 9:31 a.m.
Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Paige Zinn and seconded by Sharon Hill to approve the minutes from the July 31
2020 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
New Business
Steve Brantley gave an overview of the Summary of Small Business Survey Results that was taken by
Orange County businesses to try and help with the County's long term economic recovery efforts. Steve
discussed the long-term economic recovery and mentioned that a round 3 grant program will likely be
approved by the BOCC.
Steve also discussed the Business Directory Project which will also give a survey to identify the
businesses in Orange County. The Economic Development staff will create and maintain a database to
help keep track of all current Orange County businesses.
Amanda Garner spoke about the Orange County Small Business Loan Program and Grant Sub-
Committees that could use additional members should anyone be interest in serving on those boards.
Old Business
Advisory Board Membership
Steve introduced the two new board members, Tom Proctor and Jonna Hunt, who were approved by the
BOCC. He advised that the BOCC also granted one final year term for Paige Zinn to remain the Chair
and they granted a 3 year term for Sharon Hill.
Director's Report
Steve provided a brief update on current project activity. The BOCC voted 6-1 to approve the RTLP.
Steve gave a summary of the Buc-ee's project and overall business recruitment activity.

Paige Zinn adjourned the meeting at 10:27 A.M.
