PURPOSE: To recognize and [hank the members of the Omnge County Capital Needs
Advisory Task Fome (CNATF) for their service and for their efforts to review and tliewss
vatlous school and Count' capital needs and to rewmmend tc [he BoaN of Commissioners
proposstl amounts aM elements of a planned November 2np1 bond referendum.
BACKGROUND: Eatlier this year, the Orange County BOaN of Commisaionere appointed
various Orange County citizens to the Orange County Wpitel Needs Advisory Task Force.
The Task Farce was charged with reviewing and discussing various school antl County
capital needs end to recommend to the BoaN of Commissioners pmpos[d amounts and
elements of a planned November 2001 bond rekrendum. During a series of meetings over
Three months. the members of the Task Farce met end ultlmetely provided a final report to
the 6000 outlining recommended bond amounts end propoeetl bond projects. The work by
the CNATF greatly assisted the BOCC es I[ developed plans for the planned November 2001
bond referendum, and the BOCC wishes to rewgnire the Task Fame member; end thank
them for their work.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATIONt3): The Manager recemmentla that the Board adapt the attached
resolution of recognition and appreciaWn to the Orange County Capital Needs Advisory
Task Force.
