agenda for public comment. Should any member of the public wish to
attend, have a question or comment for the Climate Council’s consideration,

3:00 I. Call to Order, Land Acknowledgement
The Council will take a moment to acknowledge the native lands on which Orange County
resides.
3:05 II. Additions or Changes to the Agenda
Council members will have the opportunity to suggest additions to the agenda.
3:10 III. Approval of Meeting Minutes from June 18 and July 16,
2020
3:15 IV. Update from Climate Action Reporting Committee
3:25 V. Update from Policy Committee
3:35 VI. Update from Communications Committee
3:45 VII. Discussion: Succession planning and Public-facing event
in September
Council members will discuss a potential date change in planned leadership succession to better
align with annual committee assignments of elected officials. Further discussion around
planning for a public -facing event to show annual progress.
