Relevant background, education and experience : I am a former Senior Deputy County
Attorney and Assistant District Attorney and in both capacities addressed animal cruelty cases . I
am also an MPA student who is studying organizational theory and can apply my experience and
learning to enhance the productivity of the board .
Reasons for wanting to serve on this board : I love animals and am a dedicated public servant,
committed to serving the community in which I live . I see this as an opportunity to combine both
of these passions for the greater good .
Contribution to the diversity of viewpoints on this board : As a mother with teenage children
in the community with a law enforcement background with animal cruelty, I believe I would
provide valuable insight and a unique viewpoint.
