During remediation demolition and removal of contents, the condition of the building was revealed to have extensive mil issues beyond what was able to be observed prior to demolition. During these new observations by ESG on 6/18/19, Con defined by the IICRC S520) areas were identified in excess throughout the building and on interior walls where microbial observed. The widespread amount of observed microbial growth, some being toxigenic Stachybotrys/Chaetomium, indic building had conditions suitable for microbial growth subject to any of the interior surfaces. Due to these findings, most c drywall should be removed to remove any visible or non-visible fungal colonies and allow for additional observation behi likely that all of the interior drywall will need to be removed in order to effectively ensure that all fungal sources have be cleaned. The rough foundation block walls should be cleaned, and would most effectively be cleaned using dry-ice blastir antimicrobial solution fog/wipe. Any insulation within the block which is able to be accessed should be removed and HEP Following these steps, surface testing of the concrete block walls should be performed to ensure a successful cleaning wz and a combination of encapsulating the block walls, air sealing exterior facing walls, and proper exterior waterproofing ai will allow the building to remain in a normal indoor condition without the threat of excess airborne fungal spores.
