PURPOSE: To consider two additions to the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2001.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. Two additions are recommended and listed below:
? To schedule a meeting for March 12, 2001 at 8:00 a.m. at Mama Dip's Kitchen, 408 W.
Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the purpose of meeting with the N.C.
Legislative delegation to discuss local legislative issues.
? To schedule a meeting for April 19, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. in the Southern Human Services
Center Boardroom in Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the purpose of holding an Assembly
of Governments meeting with the Towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Hillsborough.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the County Commissioners amend
the Board's regular meeting calendar by adding the above two meetings.
