the Board of Commissioners adjourned and immediately reconvened as a Board of Houalisation and
Review. There was no business presented to the Boazd so the Board of Ecualisation aryl Review
recessed until 3 p.m, on E.onday~ July 6, 1959•
Ihere being no further business the Hoard of Cosudssioners adjoux ned to meet again on Thursday,
June Utit at 6 p.m. in the Conmtissioners roam at She courthouse in Rillsboro to begin study of
the 1959-1960 budget,

The Orange County Hoard of Commissioners met in adjourned session on Thursday, June h, 1959,
at eight o'cloc(x p.m, is the Commissioners' room at the courthouse in Hill sboror 0. C.

Upon motion oT Commissioner Jones: seconded by Commissioner L`cDade~ the following resolution was
unanimously passed by the Houd of Commissioners of Orange County, -
lYnereas it appeazin;; that the oeti tion for the addition to the State Highway System of Cedar
Btreet, off Ea, Bolue road north of Chapel Hi11, i7. C., which contained the names of all property
mmexs on that portion of Cedar Street extending a distance of two tenths'of one mile from ct.
Hv1us road on :+hich there are fire occupied houses has been lost in the mail and cannot not. be
found+ ands
Ythereas~ it further appearing that said petition eras in preper form and order including the
granting of a sixty Soot right of way and that petitioners had speared adequate subscriptions to
comrensate the State for their pat of the expense for paving the street as above de scribed
Na:r~ therefore, in order that the work may- proceed vrithout unreasonable delay it is xeeuested
that the Btzte Highr+ay Commission accept this resolution in lieu of the petition ~.vttich was lost.
