Review. There was no business presented to the °oard so the Board of Paualiaation and Review
recessed until 3 p.m, on Liondayr July 6r 19$9.
There being no further business the Board of Commissioners adjourned to meet again on Thursdayr
June Utlt at 8 p.m. in the Couanissioners room at t?te courthouse in [iillsboro to begin study of
the 1959-1960 budget.

unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners of Orange County. -
Yrhereas it appearing that the petition for the addition to the State Highway System of Cedaz
Streetr ofT L;t. riolus read north of Chanel Hillr :J. C.r which contairzd the names oS all nz operty
comers on that pox tion of Cedaz Street extending a distance of two tenths'of one mile from ut.
Polus road on which there ue five occupied houses has been lost in the mail and ca~tnot not be

Yfhereasr it further anoeudng that said petition rras in pruner form and order including the
granting or a sixty foot right of way and that petitioners had secured adoquate subscriptions to
comrensate the State i'ox their pazt of the expense far paving the street as above de scribedr
Nvvr thereforer in order that the work may proceed ~xithout unreasonable delay it is requested
that the State high:ray Conmiaslon accept this resolution in lieu of the petition wktich wes lost.
A permit was issued tc James J. L'reeland of Hillsboror N, C.r granting him permission to
have a firework display at Holliday Park on Saturdayr July Lthr at 9:30 p.m.
The Hoard began a study of budget reeuests for' the coming fiscal year of 1S$9-1960.
