Utility Construction Proposal No. 018 Project No. CIP 30044 Contractor No. C077 Description of Change: This proposal is for hydrostatically testing the 12"sewer line between MH 12 and 13.We will set up a pump around between MH 14 and MH 11. We will use thru plugs on the upstream side of MH 12 and the downstream side of MH 13. We will bring in water on a water truck to fill the line between MH 12 and MH 13. We will use a test pump to pressurize the line to 9 psi for 2 hours witnessed by the engineer. Following pressure testing, we will remove the plugs and return the sewer to normal flow.We will also replace the ring and cover on MH 12 with a watertight ring and cover.The salvaged ring and cover will be taken to Mebane Public Works yard at 636 Corregidor St. Mebane, NC.
