The HPC wishes to make the following recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to fill position #5 now held by Robert Ireland,who will rotate off on March 31 after serving two full terms: Appoint Susan Ballard to serve in position#5. Ms. Ballard has had long involvement in historic preservation and provided exceptional volunteer service when she served on the HPC from 2013-2016. In addition,the HPC asks the Board of County Commissioners to consider reappointing the following two current members to second three-year terms. These members will reach the end of their first terms on March 31, 2019 and all are willing to continue serving on the board: Art Menius to a second full term in position number 6.
