This change order request involves the electrical services required to complete the renovations in the
lower Level of the Link Building for the Public Defender and staff offices.
The electrical contract was issued as a not to exceed $20,000.00. During the renovations, there were
additional electrical outlets, lights and fans required to complete this renovation.
This change order is to add an additional $3,714.25 to the existing contract for all services.
Background:
In July, 2018 Harris Brothers Electric & Controls, Inc. was issued an executed contract to perform the
required electrical work for the lower level Link renovations. This contract was issued as a Not To
Exceed contract of$20,000.00.
The lower level Link Building renovations included installing new walls, lights, switches, outlets, fire
alarm devices, IT equipment, HVAC equipment, and other misc. items to set up office space for the
Public Defender and staff.

Full Description of Change:This change order request is to increase the original contract value for the electrical services r
renovate the lower level Link builing for the Public Defender to move into the existing space.
Reason for Change: The original contract was for a Not to Exceed amount of$20,000.00. The extent of the electrical wor
move the Public Defenders office into this space exceeded this amount by$3,417.25.The overage includes additional lab
materials to finish the renovation.
