BACKGROUND: There is currently one At-Large, one Non-Chapel Hill/Hillsborough township, one Chapel Hill Township and two Hillsborough Township vacancy on the Commission for Women. The Clerk's Office has received a letter of recommendation from the Commission for Women for the following candidates: Doris Jean Bynum, Natalia Deeb-Sossa, and Jennifer Murphy. The Clerk's Office is continuing to advertise for volunteers to fill the other vacant positions.
