Several residents complained that response time was excessive for call bells to be answered. One daughter mentioned that sometimes her mother would resort to calling her and then the daughter would call the facility so that someone would attend to her mother. She thought weekends were usually most difficult. Few residents mentioned that they participated in activities. One noted few were intellectual. A few individuals complained about the food. One mentioned she had lost weight; another woman said she brought food in for her mother. Comments about rehab services were positive. One resident said the staff was generally good and routines helpful. yes Discuss items from “Areas of Concern” Section as well as any changes observed during the visit There was a marked difference observed in terms of staff morale. One credited the new administrator who has only been at the helm three week. He discussed several goals including building staff morale through recognition programs and improving cuisine. He welcomed comments and was looking forward to his first resident council meeting. The building was clean and odor free.
