PURPOSE: To consider an appointment to the ACHCAC.
BACKGROUND: There is one vacancy on the ACHGAG. It is an At-Large position. A letter
of recommendation has been received from the ACHCAC recommending Mc Cary Cornette to
fill the At-large position. Mr. Cornette would be serving a one year initial training term which will
end Qctober 31, 2005.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing Mr. Cary Cornette to the ACHCAC to a one year initial
training term, ending October 31, 2005.

I am contacting you on behalf of the Orazige County Adult Care Home Community Advisory
Committee.
The Orange County Adult Care Home Advisory Committee has agreed with a majority vote to
nominate Mr. Cary Corvette to fill a vacancy on the cormnittee. Cary has been serving on the Durham
County ACHCAC. He is now living in Orange County and would like to continue his commitment to
serving the older residents of our community. Professionally, he is a financial adviser with special
training in advising senior citizens. Additionally, he is a volunteer with the North Carolina
Therapeutic riding program which provides horse riding experiences for disabled
individuals. Cary comes highly recommended from his reference on the Durham County ACHCAC,.
We look forward to the contributions he can make to our committee and to the well being of the
residents we serve..
