Stanford moved that the £olloering resolution ba adooted: Y71U:REGS, the Chapel Hi11 City Hoa_*d of Education by resolution dated April 8, 1958, and the Orange County Hoard of Education try resolution dated April 9, 1958, have requested and petitioned the Hoard of Comniss_oners of Orange County, North Carolina, to call an election in the area caanrising the CzSrboro and Tlltite Cross School Districts to determine the vvi11 of the people on the issue oL vrhether or not these tro districts shall become a rart of the Chanel Hill City Administrative Unit. AND }}Tvx'tHAS, it aprears from said resolution and petition that a large number of citicens of the area comprising said txe districts, including a unanimous request by the Yihite Cross School Commdttee, have petitioned and urged the County Hoar3 of Educa~on to take action reeuesting an election in said two districts to determine the vri11 of the people on the question of whether or not these t;vo districts shall become apart oT the Chapel H111 City Administrative Unit.
