HUMAN SERVICES ADVISORY COMMISSION APRIL 18, 1994 MINUTES The regular meeting of the Human Services Advisory Commission was held on Monday, April 18, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in the Commissioner's Conference Room, Government Services Center, Hillsborough, NC. MEMBERS PRESENT: Co -Chair Karen Taylor, and members Shirley Siegle, Martha Branscombe, Barbara Warren, Page Fisher, Tony Dalton, Beverly Foster, Jan Riordan, Reverend Curtis Tyler, and Mary Bacon. MEMBERS ABSENT: EXCUSED: Mary Davison, Don Willhoit and Jan Schopler UNEXCUSED: Letitia Kelly and Phil Cooke. STAFF PRESENT: Albert Kittrell, Assistant County Manager, Kathy Baker, Deputy Clerk to the Board. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Shirley Siegle, seconded by Barbara Warren, to approve the minutes of the March 21, 1994 meeting as corrected. VOTE: UNANIMOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS: Reports from members of the Human Services Management Team will be scheduled for the May HSAC meeting. Karen Taylor reported that several of the funding agencies have added questions to the non - profit agency funding application. Jan Schopler, Chair of the Human Services Coordinating Council, has indicated that the Council is attempting to have these questions included in the main application. REVIEW OF FUNDING APPLICATION: Remainder of the meeting was devoted to reviewing the funding applications. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. The next regular meeting of the Human Services Advisory Commission is scheduled for May 16, 1994 at 7:30 p.m. in the new Government Services Center, 200 S.
