a. Announcement: Four newly- appointed At -Large Members — On 6/27/02 the Board of
County Commissioners approved the recommendations for new appointments which were
forwarded to them after last month's meeting. The new members of HSAC are:
• Patty Maynard Hill, term expiration3 /31/2004, partial term (less than 2 years remaining)
• Cheryle Atwater, term expiration 3/31/2004, partial term
• Marla Fearrington, term expiration 3/31/2003, partial term
• Saul G. Liss, term expiration 03/31/2005, first term.

4. Items for Discussion / Decision
a. Approval of Minutes
b. Continued Discussion of 2002 Forum:
"Community Solutions to Abuse in Orange County: Join Us in a
Discussion of Ways to Address Abuse of Children, Teens, Elders and
Partners"
Andy Sachs will be present to help guide and assist the Commission in
choosing a format for the Forum. The Board will also continue its
discussion on identifying and confirming panelists and other action steps.
