• Natalie Ammarell, seat no. 2, representing the Interfaith Council (replacing Karen Taylor)
• Melvin Hurston, seat no. 10, representing the Orange County Board of Health (replacing Bev
Foster)

Membership -
• There still remain several vacant seats, two of which are "at- large." - Applications have been received
from three interested applicants. HSAC needs to review their applications and make a formal
recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners concerning appointment. Their applications
are attached.

• Rebecca A. Young
• The Department of Social Services has recommended Dee Gamble for reappointment by the Board of
Commissioners on June 21, 1999. If reappointed, she will serve her first full three -year term. She is
now serving-an unexpired term.
�Ms.Sheiba Sholes Ross of the Communities -in- Schools has requested an application and more
information about HSAC.

This was distributed at the May, 1999 meeting. This resolution was adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners, who have recommended that all County Advisory Boards adopt it as well.
