* (Terry Hill - At- Large, was appointed by the Board of Commissioners on 9/5/00; however, he
had moved out of town and, therefore, was ineligible.),
Other Vacancies:
*OPC Area Programs - Tom Maynard, Director, was contacted about this vacancy recently and
he said he is aware of it, and has brought it to his Board's attention, but no one has volunteered
as of yet. He will talk to his Board about this again at the next meeting.
*C.I.S. (Communities in Schools)
*United Way
* Discussion of ways to increase awareness with these three groups for which we have vacancies
rj Send agendas and minutes to Directors of each group represented on the Commission,
even those for which there are vacancies
4. 2000 Forum - Review of Outcomes from Each Break Out Group - Sharron Hinton
* Discussion : "Chew the meat and spit out the bones" (What we liked and did not like)
* Annual Forum Report - Form a Committee to work on
* What sections does the Commission need to work on?
* What sections does the Manager's office work on?
