SECTION I
Agency: Orange County Department of Social Services
Program: Emergency Assistance
Effective Period of the Contract: July 1, 2017 -June 30, 2018
This Contract Amendment amends the contract between the Orange County Department of Social Services (the "County")
and Inter -Faith Council for Social Services, Inc. (the "Contractor "). As provided for under the terms of the contract, The
County and Contractor agree to amend the provision(s) indicated in Section II below.
Justification /Change to Contract:
General Contract- 5. County's Duties
The County shall pay the Contractor in the manner and in the amounts specified in the Contract Documents, The total amount
paid by the County to the Contractor under this contract shall not exceed $76,500. This amount consists of $76,500 in Federal
funds (CFDA ##�), State and County funds.

The contributions from the Contractor shall be sourced from non - federal funds.
The total contract amount including any Contractor match shall not exceed $76,500.
Attachment 8 Scope of Work
This amendment provides additional funds to the Contractor for Emergency Assistance Programming for the duration of
the contract period. The County will reimburse the Contractor up to $5,000/month for rent/related costs and Orange
Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) bills /related costs for clients who: are residents of Orange County, have income at
or below 200% of f=ederal Poverty Level, and have a household experiencing a financial crisis. Payments are limited to
$200 within a 12 -month period. The County will reimburse the Contractor for staff costs for administering the Emergency
Assistance Program up to $4,500 /month.
SECTION III
All other terms and conditions set forth in the original contract shall remain in effect for the duration of the contract. The
contract specified above is amended by this Contract Amendment effective April 6, 2018.
