PURPOSE: To consider making new appointments to the Human Relations Commission.
BACKGROUND: There are three vacancies on the Human Relations Commission.
Appointees to positions 17 and 18 will be serving full first terms, ending September 30, 2007
and June 30, 2007 and the appointee to position 19 will be serving a partial term ending
September 30, 2006. The Clerk's Office has received a resolution from the Town of
Hillsborough recommending Sabrina Covington-Farrar for position 18.

RESOI,LJTION REQUESTING AN APPOINTMENT
AS THE TOWN'S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE
ORANGE COUNTY I-IiIMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, as a result of vacancy, it is necessary to appoint a person to a seat reserved on the on the
Orange County Human Relations Commission; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGH
RESOLVES:
Section I. The Orange County Board of Commissioners is respectfully requested to appoint
the following individual to the Orange County Human Relations Commission as the Town's
Representative:
Sabrina Covington-Farrar
2410 Summit Drive
Hillsborough, NC 27278
Section 2. The Town Clerk shall send a copy of this resolution to the Orange County
Manager.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote received the following vote and was duty
adopted this 14°i day of February, 2005.
