Additions or Changes to the Agenda
PUBLIC CHARGE
The Board of Commissioners pledges to the residents of Orange County its respect. The Board asks its
residents to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow
residents. At any time should any member of the Board or any resident fail to observe this public charge,
the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control.
Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine
commitment to this public charge is observed. All electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, and
computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate.
Arts Moment - William Davis
The 2016-18 Hillsborough Poet Laureate William Davis, who goes by the performance name
“Endlesswill", is a spoken word artist dedicated to continuing the tradition of poetry in living form.
His most recent poetry collection, Broken Perception, is largely autobiographical, exploring the
themes of utilizing lessons of the past to positively shape one’s future and the complexities of the
human condition. The first twenty-five poems in the book can be found in audio form on a CD also
titled Broken Perception.
William Davis is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He studied world history, and early
childhood education at Ferris State University. He is a father of five wonderful, artistic, and sports
involved children. He and his partner Catherine Stanley enjoy planning writing activities, family
book clubs, and riding bikes together.

only. Submittal of information to the Board or receipt of information by the Board does not constitute
approval, endorsement, or consent.
