Mr. Gene Lonsway, owner/operator of Canine College, is
requesting the issuance of a Class B Special Use Permit to
allow for the development and operation of a Class II Kennel at
719 New Hope Church Road.
As detailed within the application, Mr. Lonsway is seeking to
construct a 3,200 square foot boarding/training building to
house up to twenty (20) dogs as well as a 1,600 square foot
storage building. The project also involves the fencing in of a
1,800 square foot area of the property to serve as an exercise
area for the animals.
Access to the proposed facility is proposed to be through an
existing driveway onto New Hope Church Road.
Mr. Lonsway is proposing to reside within an existing single-
family residence already located on the property to provide
twenty-four hour care for the animals boarded at the facility.
