The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau Board met at the Chapel Hill/Orange
County Visitors Bureau's Conference Room, Chapel Hill, on October 16,2002-

CALL TO ORDER
Chair Creston Woods called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
Mr. Woods opened the board meeting by welcoming Board Members and guests.
Executive Director Joe Blake welcomed Board Members and guests. At this time Mr.
Blake introduced the Visitors Bureau staff to those present. Mr. Blake announced that
immediately following the meeting Board Members and guests were invited to tour the
new offices and visitor center.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Chair Woods asked for approval of the minutes of the August 21, 2002 meeting as
presented. Mr. Moses Carey made a motion to accent the minutes as presented Ms Pat
Evans seconded the motion With all Board Members in agreement the motion was
carried unanmwush.
