The Chapel Hill /Orange County Visitors Bureau Board met at the Siena Hotel, Chapel
Hill, on August 21, 2002.

CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chair Nancy Davis called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
Ms. Davis opened the board meeting by welcoming Board Members and guests.
Ms. Davis introduced Mr. Mark Sherburne, General Manager of the Siena Hotel. Mr.
Sherburne welcomed all members and guests present to the Siena and gave a brief
overview of updates that have taken place at the Siena over the past year.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Vice Chair Davis asked for approval of the minutes of the June 19, 2002 meeting as
presented. Mr. Bill Crowther made a motion to accent the minutes as presented Mr.
Moses Carev. Jr seconded the motion With all Board Members in agreement, the
motion was carried unanimously.
