The Orange County Hoerd of Comaissioners met on Tuesday, September 25, 1955, at ~~

IDiv ision Highway Commissioner end tdr. L. H. Gunter, District Engineer. The Hi ghwag
Department has nronosed the construction of a road from the North Carolina II9emori el ~~
Hospital in Cho Sal Hill to Highvrag 15 -5D1 Hg-Hass. This road is to be ennroxlmately ~li
.lone mile in length.
After consldo reble discussion of the nronosed road, it was moved by Commissioner
!Rag and seconded bg Commissioner Lanier that a petition for this road be drawn and that
'. said petition erould be ¢ooroved by tae Board and sent to the District Highway Orfice
i in Grehsm.
The Hoard also agreed to add .15 of a mile of road to the netiti on for Barclay !~
Road, which petition was submitted bg Frank Umstead at a nravious meeting. i
