Minutes of February 12, 2013
Members Present: Jonzella Bailey- Pridham, Diane Beecham, Patsy Barbee, Nannie Richmond,
Arthur Sprinczeles and James Stroud
Members Absent: Katherine Doom and Andrew Shannon
Staff Present: Tara L. Fikes
Welcome/Introduction
Chair Patsy Barbee called the meeting to order.
Approval of Minutes — January 8, 2013
The minutes of January 8, 2013 were approved on a motion by Diane Beecham seconded by
Arthur Sprinczeles.
Media Strategy
Everyone was encouraged to like the Facebook Page.
Housing Bond Program Request
Board members discussed Robert Dowling's request to use $75,000 in bond funds to
Greenbridge Condominiums in Chapel Hill to assist in the repair /replacement of HVAC units.
Everyone agreed to the request with a comprehensive plan of how and when money will be used;
how the systems will be replaced, and what happens if money is not needed. The request was
approved on a motion by James Stroud seconded by Nannie Richmond.
