Key Issues Considered /Discussed
• Funding /Fees
• Interlocal Agreement
■ Managers are currently clarifying and negotiating the portion of debt and other areas
• Program Performance Data
• Organics Diversion
• SWAG Priorities
• Rural curbside expansion will be complete by August 2016 rather than original 3 year phase -in
plan
• Current commercial recycling programs include: some small businesses on the curbside routes,
the Bar /Restaurant Collection and the Food Waste Program
• The SW fee recommendation for next year will be set thru the County's Budget Development
Process, which will be brought to the SWAG. The Interlocal Agreement will not include a set SW
fee, only a formula or process for setting a SW fee.
