PURPOSE: To consider making appointments to the Eno EDD Small Area Plan Taskforce,
BACKGROUND: Meetings with residents and property owners in the Eno EDD have taken
place earlier this year and have highlighted the need to address land use, infrastructure and
local government jurisdiction issues. Additionally, Orange County officials have started
preliminary discussion with Durham officials.. Development of an EDD small area plan involving
residents, property owners, local government staff, advisory boards and elected representatives
has been approved to develop this small area plan,

designated area. My father Dr. JM Dubose resides at 1020 Lawrence Rd in
Hillsborough. The largest signle tract of undeveloped land in O.G. is located on Hwy 70
just west of the proposed SAP study area. The Dubose family ans I have communicated
with Qrange County and the City of Durham. The City of Durham has indicated that the
City would be willing to sell bulk water and sewer to a private utility provider. Becasue
providing utilites services to this area is critical to the development of the EDD and
becasue ENO Farms could be instrumental in making this financially feasible, it is
important that Eno Farms be inculded in the SAP planning process.
