Discussion Point: Director's Fbport — Katie
Decision/ Vote(s): Discussion of specified grant $$$ to fund for public art, art map, etc. Do we keep $ from
current Fall 2016 Grant funds. Andrea mentioned to go through the grant to see what funds we have left.
Tim wants to use a exec discretionary fund of $1000 to put towards the discretionary fund taken away from the $26k
funds.
Vote: Motion to give $25,340.00 in grants and $1500 from the state which cannot be spent on artists. Thistopicwas
discussed but not voted on.
Katie stated that we need to give an additional $1500 to a multicultural art group since we didn't give enough funds in
the Spring grant cycl e.
Liaison Fbports: Nothing to report from ADHOCIiaison groups.
Katie stated that traffic is upon our website and that she wants to hire out to get help to write for the website. This
would come from the marketing funds.
NC Folk Life has an auction coming up —web silent auction.
