Topic B- Partner Profile- Coalition to Unchain Dogs
• President, Amanda Arrington, updated Board on general policies and practices used when
building fences for clients.
• To date 36 fenced yards have been built in Orange County and 29 families are on a wait list.
• Bob Marotto and the Board expressed concern about length of wait list and discussed with Ms
Arrington and Lori Hensley (Dir of Operations and Development) strategies to increase number of
volunteers to speed up the process. It was stressed that a point person is needed to lead,
coordinate and oversee activities in Orange County
• Overall, the Board is very pleased with the efforts of the Coalition, and looks forward to assisting
with increasing volunteers and finding a point person to run the program in Orange County.
• Next Partner Profile, Board unanimously approved inviting Paws4Ever to present at the August
